Who is the Lady of Leitrim?

My Mom, who grew-up in Leitrim, Ireland, was my first style icon. I have always loved fashion and have fond memories of playing dress up in my mom’s closet. She could put on some red lipstick and literally be transformed. Her style was playful, effortless, and graceful because she embodied those attributes. She taught me the importance of feeling fully comfortable and confident in my own skin and on days when I didn’t, to dress like I did.

Clothes can often transform your mood and remind you of who you truly are. My Mom would often get dressed up to go food shopping, and I loved it, why not wear heels and a dress to the supermarket? It is because of her that I have acquired a keen eye for fashion and have enjoyed playing dress-up in my own closet.
